Photography
Outside of writing, photography has become one of my biggest passions. It's literally changed the way I view the world. Since I began, I've realized that I now appreciate my surrounding more, take things in, analyze them, and see people through a different lens (no pun intended). It's even helped inspire me with my writing. Sometimes when I'm struggling to find the right words, I find the feelings that encapsulate them through my subject.

Tracy Aviary
As part of my freelance position at Tracy Aviary, I handled all of the photography. I had to capture high quality candid shots for our social media channels. I took photos at bird shows where I had to have quick reflexes and perfect timing on my shots. I also did a lot of product placement shots, sponsor advertising, and cover major events at Tracy Aviary such as Ready to Hatch - the biggest fundraising event of the year.
Design
Music has always been a huge passion of mine so in my spare time, I create album covers and posters for my favorite artists. I'll attempt to capture their style, sound, and essence and illustrate it in my own original manner.
Video
Capstone Music Video
For our capstone project we decided to do a music video that went into the subject of fighting our inner demons and portrayed that through performance art. What makes this video unique is that we didn't just project the video, but it's actually on two walls where they both interact in the corner of the room. For this project I did all of the special effects such as the shadows, transitions, explosions, and music/video editing.
Red Malum Opening
Just like with music, movies are a major part of my life. I specially find movie & TV show intros fascinating—giving a small glimpse into the story and capturing its essence without really giving anything away. Here is an intro I put together for a fake horror TV show called, Red Malum.
I did all of the special effects and filming except for a couple of clips. At the time, I was just a college kid with zero budget and no access to makeup and prosthetics, so I just sourced a few clips to fill the gaps a bit. I also mixed the soundtrack myself, mixing a couple of tracks together to give the clashy, uncomfortable, and creepy feel to it.
