Ever since coming to this country, I've had to grow up fast and at a very young age. So early on in fact, that I was translating for my parents at their workplace and helped negotiate business decisions at the age of 10. I'll be honest, I'm not quite sure if that was very wise, asking for that sort of help from a 10 year old kid, but hey—it helped me get ahead of the game in lots of ways and shaped who I am today.

One thing that's made me fall in love with copywriting is the creative process itself. The work that goes behind successfully expressing an idea or concept and in a way that you resonate with on many different levels. Whether it's connecting through passions, backgrounds, cultures, humor, or nostalgia—hitting that sweet spot that makes my writing click and shine is truly one of my favorite feelings.

My career in writing began in college when the former CCO of McCann Worldgroup asked me to join his new, student-run ad agency and become a copywriter for him. This first step helped me grow immensely as a writer, doer, and creator. Since then, I've had the privilege to build a career where I've worked and collaborated with amazing brands and agencies such as: American Express, Microsoft, lululemon, Purple, O.C. Tanner, Chick-fil-A, Phillips 66, and so much more.
